Origin and Development of Raheemiyya Madharasa

Our islam spreads in many areas through different Islamic scholars. Imam kapoor (rahmathullahi 'alaihi) was one of the scholar who spread Islam in many areas. He belonged to the eighteenth generation of our prophet mohamed (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam). He also participated in crusaders. His son Imam Ahamed (rahmathullahi 'alaihi) who was the Governor of Medina. Syed Ibrahim (rahmathullahi 'alaihi) who was the son of Ahamed (rahmathullahi 'alaihi) who spread Islam in Madurai, Gujarat and Sindh province of India.

Imam Meeran (rahmathullahi 'alaihi) son of Sulthan Syed Ibrahim (rahmathullahi 'alaihi) spread Islam in Tenkasi region according to his father's request.

There were many Islamic scholars in this generation. One of the popular scholar was E.M Abdul Rahman noori bazil baqavi who was the lecturer of Anwarul Quran Tafseer Tamil and the popular Scholar Moulana Abul Hasan Shathali hazrath who started the magazine Jama 'athul ulama to know the Islamic Shariya and to teach many people to reach Islam . His son Mohamed Ibrahim 'Alim bakavi spend his time to spread Islam through Islamic campaign and Jama 'athul ulama magazine.

Raheemiyya Madharasa was inaugurated by Mohamed Mustafa M.A who is the Nephew of Mohamed Ibrahim 'Alim Baqavi and Hasan Pasariyal who is the niece of Mohamed Ibrahim 'Alim bakavi.

Now, Raheemiyya Madharasa is successfully being conducted by Ameenammal Begum ('Alima Afzal ul Ulama M.A.) who is the daughter of Hasan Pasariyal.
